Interferometer Components |

|
The components required to build an interferometer vary significantly, depending on the dimensions of the sample and accuracy and performance needed. Interferometer components are offered as basic standard to reduce the time needed to assemble your desired interferometer system.
These components share the following common specifications:
- Optical axis height: 170 mm
- Efficient aperture: φ25 mm
- Stabilized fixation by a φ20 rod and collet stand
Standard components have standard dimensions (including mounting screw diameters) for easy modification or addition, depending on the specific application. Indicate your intended purpose and budget constraints, and Sigma Koki will propose an ideal system for your needs.

Laser component IFC-L
|

A proven component equipped with a He-Ne laser and fine-tuning mechanism.
- Wavelength: 632.8 nm
- Output: 1 mW
- Linearly polarized light

Spatial filter component IFC-SF
|

Component for converting light with noise into light with coherent wave fronts.
Collects light with an objective lens and removes noise elements with a pinhole. May be used as a beam expander in combination with the collimator lens component.

Collimator lens component IFC-CL
|
 |
A component for converting a laser beam into parallel light, together with spatial filter component.
Employs a spherical achromatic lens for improved wave fronts.
The three-axis lens holder allows easy fine-tuning of the optical axis (focus) direction.
Allows accurate collimation when combined with a collimation checker component (A15).

Mirror component IFC-M

A component for tilting optical path.
Employs a mirror with a profile regularity of λ/20 to suppress degradation of reflection wave fronts.
With easily switched coarse/fine control and minimal shifting of the optical axis, the gimbal mirror holder enables easy, accurate adjustment.

Beam splitter component IFC-BS

A component for dividing and combining laser light.
With easily switched coarse/fine control and minimal shifting of the optical axis, the gimbal mirror holder enables easy, accurate adjustment. The XY-axis stage is joined to a magnetic base for easier adjustment, particularly for beam combining applications that require precise positioning.

Concave mirror component IFC-CCM

Schlieren device incorporate a pair of concave mirror components.
The XY-axis stage joined to a magnetic base allows easier adjustment of reflective Schlieren devices, which demand simultaneous adjustment of focus and optical axis shiftings.

Screen component IFC-SC
|
 |
A screen for projecting interference fringes.
|
CCD holder component IFC-CCDH
|
 |
A component for displaying interference fringe on a monitor and for obtaining and sending data to a PC. A commercially available CCD camera is secured using a tripod-mounting screw (1/4").
Magnifies smaller beam interference fringes on a monitor for easier viewing; records changes in the interference fringe.

Collimation checker component IFC-SPV
|

A wedge plate-type sharing interferometer for easier evaluation of beam parallelism (divergence and convergence) during optical adjustment.
Compatible beam diameters are φ7 to φ25 mm.
A collimation checker component combined with a CCD camera is also available to enable evaluation of narrower beams. Please contact us for more information.

Target component IFC-TG

Used as a reference to adjust the height and direction of the light path during optical adjustment.
The rear surface is a spring clip-type holder that can also be used as knife-edge holder for Schlieren devices.

Attenuates the vibration from floor by air spring.
