The area of the mounting plate
Mounting plates for the optical vibration isolator and the laboratory bench for optical experiments include flat benches (aluminum honeycomb), ordinary steel plates, cast iron plates, and aluminum plates. (Notes that the mounting plate varies depending on product type.) A variety of mounting plates of different sizes are available as standard products to satisfy almost any need. In addition, products other than the standard products can also be prepared according to customer specifications.

Flat benches
The flat bench (aluminum honeycomb core) used as an optical vibration isolator or as a laboratory bench for optical experiments is a light-weight bench superior in stiffness, employing a magnetic stainless steel plate as the top surface and an ordinary steel plate as the bottom surface, which are connected entirely with an epoxy adhesive.
The top surface of the flat bench is uncoated. In addition, bases with a graded scale or special tapped hole and other modified benches are also available upon request.

Tapped hole structure of flat bench
A flat bench (aluminum honeycomb) used as an optical vibration isolator or as a laboratory bench for optical experiments normally has tapped holes. Flat benches are custom-made, depending on specifications for hole location and matrices such as (M6 XY 25 mm matrix), M4, M5, M6, and inch sizes are also available.

Trestle table
The trestle table used for the optical vibration isolator and the laboratory bench for optical experiments has legs and connecting pipes firmly connected by welding. Both legs and connecting pipes are made thicker to increase table stiffness.
Vibration absorption depends not only on the "precision air spring" used in the optical vibration isolator but also on the structure and the stiffness of the trestle table. The main purpose of the rectangular pipes connecting the legs is rather to prevent "distortion" of the trestle table, than to prevent collapse. Use of thinner rectangular pipes or a thin plate may decrease the primary resonance frequency of trestle table, making it vibrate sympathetically with the vibration frequency transmitted from the floor, dramatically impairing overall vibration absorption. Leveling bolts are one of the most important parts for supporting the weight of the flat bench and the devices thereon. The diameter (and the stiffness) of the bolts, which connect the trestle table to the floor, has a significant influence on the overall performance of the optical vibration isolator and laboratory bench for optical experiments. Trestle tables other than standard products are also available.

Carry-in cost
The optical vibration isolators and the laboratory benches for optical experiments are heavy-weight products, demanding a carry-in cost separately. In addition, vehicle, manpower, tools, and other equipment suitable for the site will be required during the carry in.
