Sigma Koki marked its 30th anniversary of the company on April 11, 2007.
Our ability to celebrate this anniversary with success and growth is due to the support and understanding of our shareholders, customers, friends and neighbors, and we wish to express our deep appreciation to them.
At the end of our company’s first 30 years of life, we regard this time as a time of new beginnings. Our focus is to solidify our position as a leading company in laser related components, and on the development and sales of standardized Laser Subsystem Units as the company’s second backbone which bridge together Laser Related Components and Integrated Laser Systems. In addition, we are also focusing on new laser applications in the nanotechnology and biotechnology fields.
Sigma Koki products are mainly used in research and development of Optical systems, or incorporated into various types of measurement, inspection and production instruments, which are less exposed to the general consuming public. We believe in our mission; to provide consistent technical innovation and an uninterrupted supply of valuable products to the customer. This is enabled by our company members pride in contributing to not only domestic Japan, but worldwide industrial growth.
Through our advantages in design and development, specialty and high volume production, consistant service, from components and systems for optical research and development, to High-Performance Laser Fabrication Systems for FPD and Semiconductor industries, we will focus on increasing our market share not only in domestic Japan, but also in overseas markets through our subsidiaries OptoSigma Corporation and Shanghai Sigma Koki Co., Ltd.. We continue to strive to insure steady growth for Sigma Koki group in the future.
