Sigma-Koki adopts physics vapor deposition for coating. Physics vapor deposition is a method of coating which vaporizes the component materials of film and condenses them to a thin layer on substrate in the vacuum chamber by using Electron beam gun evaporation or Resistive heating. It is possible distinguish film into two types, metal film and dielectric film, according to optical characteristics for optical components and user’s applications.
Sigma-Koki has a special department for thin film coating design and production in house, therefore, not only standard products; we are also able to grant your special request on coating (Custom-made of coating).
